The Rebel is a progressive 4 year old, raced PPG race horse sired out of Australian sire Iglesia out of Speical Danetine mare. Iglesia since August 1 has had 54 individual winners in NSW, Australia of 74 races and over $1.2million. Now represented by his final juvenile crop, including overseas runners Iglesia to date has provided 188 winners of 450 races and earners of just under $11million.

The Rebel is an attractive br/blk gelding horse standing at 16.0 hands and weighs in at 490 Kg, A horse which has a good shoulder, nice hip and seems to have some scope and is correct in his conformation. This horse has passed the Macau Jockey Club vet examination and has currently just come out of quarantine. The trainer Tim Pinfield believes the horse will be a sprinter and will get 1200-1400M in distance.

The Rebel has shown some improvement on his form having come 4th -14th on the 13th August over 1200M turf track. Still relatively green horse and has not fully learnt how to settle, put his head down and finnish off. Has the potential and got some early gate speed but still needs further race day experience. We should see some marked improvement for 2010-2011 season
