Peter Leyshan
Peter Leyshan, a former top Sydney & Champion Queensland jockey, who also rode successfully in Hong Kong & Macau in the late eighties. Peter was apprentice for T.J Smith prior to riding in HK succesfully primarly for George Moore for 11 seasons.
Peter Leyshan was granted his trainers license in 1996 and was a champion trainer in his first ever season at MJC and has trained over 500+ winners in Macau & Dubai .
Peter Leyshan is a dedicated horseman and a resolute horse manager. He and Michelle his wife are both very passionate horse people. Peter is very detailed in his pre race preparation and specializes in winning the top races in Macau. He has enjoyed great success with horses imported from both Australia and New Zealand for example Dr Zhivago, Goldson and Jazza Bell.
