Tim Pinfield

timpinfield43 Year old, English-born Tim Pinfield was once a jump jockey in the UK before he made his move to the US where he worked as Assistant Trainer to Mr. Charlie Whittingham and then Mr. Darrell Vienna.

He obtained a full trainer license in 1997 with the California Horse Racing Board, and Big Jag has been Pinfield’s most successful horse, winning the Dubai Golden Shaheen in 2000, and finishing third in both the Breeders’ Cup Sprint and the inaugural running of the Hong Kong Sprint in 1999.

Tim in 2002 decided he would move his training base to Singapore, and amassed a total of 74 winners in six seasons there. In 2008 he returned back to the US to train temporary and then decided that he missed Asia too much and decided to move his operation to Macau and is now scheduled to bring in at least 15 race horses for his first season.
